Confused.com TV advertisement

The mini was one of 3 cars used in the TV advertisements. Initially 3 very abstract styles were drawn up using a limited 2 colour palette, however as the ad brief developed in consultation with Wordley Production and Confused.com this progressed to a full colour more humorous style. Over 40 different images were created and used in both the TV adverts and on their website. Watch old advertsAll cars were drawn in Illustrator and then sent to the set maker who scaled them up full size and hand painted them.

Since then the artwork is sent straight to the printers to be printed actual size onto board and then cut out by set designer Andy Hampton.

The adverts have achieved a huge success, one week topping the
RADAR figures with the highest recall figures of 68%, 7% over the next highest Asda.
