“A SHARK IN CARDIGAN BAY,
As Captain Gillespie was cruising in his pleasure boat in Cardigan Bay, with two friends on board, a large shark was seen right abreast of Gwbert, playing about for a considerable time, and it was only when Captain Williams struck it with an oar that it disappeared. All agree in describing the fish as fully 12 feet long.”
